Growing up on Saltspring Island, British Columbia (a very small organic grass roots community) came with its built in values around reducing waste, and using organic products as a base for living. Animals and all things mini have always been an obsession. So, I guess you could say Paper Soap Co is a combination of those things and love... Paper Soap started when my little sister was diagnosed with Raynaud’s and Scleroderma. She was in need of skin products that were easy to use, and that helped her condition. So we got to work studying what plants, herbs, and flowers would most beneficial for her body and skin. We use trusted organic ingredients, making everything possible from scratch. Because she couldn’t close her hands, bars and liquid soap didn’t work for her, however, the light flat paper style worked really well, as they sit in the palm easily and can be glided gently along the skin. She said our products gave her a lot of relief and insisted we market them to everyone, even though they were initially created for her, and those who suffer with skin ailments. Knowing we all want to care for our skin and reduce the toxins it absorbs, made us branch into all kinds of adorable little soaps & products. They make unique gifts, are great for travel, excellent for guests, look fabulous at B&B’s, and make adorable wedding and baby shower favors. Designed for personal single use.
I keep them in my purse for use outside my home don't have to use the soaps provided that dry out my and the kids hands till we get home.
